In a November 21 press release, Engel & Völkers North America announced the inauguration of its latest location, Engel & Völkers Victoria Oak Bay.
Situated at 2249 Oak Bay Avenue, the official launch was marked by a grand opening celebration and a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Scott Piercy and James LeBlanc (who also own two other Engel & Völkers shops in Victoria) along with co-owner Brian Danyliw of Engel & Völkers Nanaimo.
“This market has quite a mix of retirees in search of the finest in golf community living, growing families who want to retain the modern amenities they may have left behind in the cities,” Piercy said.
“This is a town that will benefit from having an Engel & Völkers here because it means premium level service at all price points with a true ability to market and sell prestigious homes to a local, national and international market,” LeBlanc added. “We’ve had great success in introducing our international services in three other markets, and we expect to redefine real estate services in this market as well.”
Engel & Völkers North America CEO Anthony Hitt expressed confidence at the success of the newest shop.
“Scott and James and their advisors have the proven expertise in representing and delivering Engel & Völkers’ highest service standards known worldwide, and will no doubt achieve the same level of success with Engel & Völkers Victoria Oak Bay,” Hitt said in the launch.
Also in attendance were Oak Bay Mayor Nils Jensen, Oak Bay Councillor Hazel Braithwaite, Vancouver License Partner Andrew Carros, and advisors Chris Burns and Brodie Young.
