As a third-generation realtor (props to mom, dad and the grandparents), Mark Penner grew up surrounded by the sound of beepers and shoptalk. Now 15 years into his own thriving career, Penner is Consulting Partner at Royal LePage Prime and one of the most recognizable faces in the Winnipeg real estate industry.
Penner has received no shortage of accolades, but they have never factored much into his identity. “That is something I’ve always been careful to avoid,” he says. “Focusing on a client-centred philosophy and investing in moving people forward in their journeys has enabled me to define success in a way that truly matters to me and the others I work with. Commissions and closings are secondary. They’re just the result of not losing sight of why I do this in the first place.”
